The Guest- Movie Review

I wasn’t looking for this movie, it just came to me as they say. This indie movie is interesting. You have to stay until the end to get your answers so don’t get all huffy lol. Now who doesn’t love the cover art, (all of the posters are nice) The actor is from the UK and was in Downton Abbey, and looks kind of like the late Paul Walker, yum yum. Dan does a convincing American accent, I wouldn’t have known. A shirtless towel scene but no nudity dammit!

From IMDB: “A soldier introduces himself to the Peterson family, claiming to be a friend of their son who died in action. After the young man is welcomed into their home, a series of accidental deaths seem to be connected to his presence”.

The families kids are good actors, the parents I can’t say the same they irritated me. The story is a thriller, violent but not excessive bloody but my comparison scales are different to many lol.

The soundtrack and colors in movie are awesome. Many are comparing this movie to Drive, so that can’t be bad. Once you see the end of movie other comparisons are certain, the director admits as such.

Download or stream this where available now, 7/10

This song from the soundtrack, I have been playing non-stop!!!
